Biography

Hi! I'm Dario, a freelance web developer with more than 5 years of experience. I live in Alzano Lombardo, a small city about 50km north-east from Milan, Italy. I have a deep passion for programming and technology, for logic problems and science. If you have a project to realize or if you wanna work with me don't be shy, send me a message.

I finished High School at the technical institute P.Paleocapa at Bergamo, before taking a graduation in the Security of System and Networks at the University of Milan - La Statale. Currently I'm working to take a PhD in the same university.

I worked with a lot of web agency, from 2005 with Gardaweb.net as a web programmer, then with Logos Comunic@ from 2007, than in 2008 with OneUp.
In 2009 I become a freelance, as an information technology consultant. I am known as Webrain.

In summer 2008 I take part at the fourth edition of Google Summer Of Code, as a student for Drupal. I realized an XSS vulnerability scanner. In summer 2009 I take part again at the Google Summer of Code, realizing a knowledge management system strongly based upon peer review.

I attended some conferences, starting from Szeged DrupalCon of 2008. Then i made some speech for the first italian DrupalDay, talking about security. In 2009 I was one of the organizers of the Crema's DrupalCamp. There I spoke about the vulnerabilities founded inside Drupal 6.x. Actually I'm one of the foundators and board members of the Associazione Italiana DrupalItalia
Since 2009 I am a member of GrUSP (PHP developers italian user group). I took a session at the PHPDay 2009 in Verona speaking about Drupal with a Marco. At the PHPDay 2010 at Corropoli (TE) i spoke about Security Testing.

Since 2009 I am a member of the Bergamo Linux User Group too. I attended at the LinuxDay 2009, where I took a session about Drupal, and I made a four lessons course about Drupal in november.

I love every geek thing, not just because I love using that, but because I really like to open, look inside and understand how that works. I love Linux, Python, opensource and everyone make stuff with passion. Only with passion you can reach the best results.
I like punk-rock music and Great Highland Bagpipe sound, and everything is Irish under the sun, especially Guinness beer.
